Along your journey to leadership success support is essential. AAPA has complied a list of the following resources to guide you along the way. We encourage you to get involved! As a member of AAPA, your participation is valued and encouraged. Get involved as soon as possible. Present a paper or volunteer to service in a wide range of projects when you hear calls for participation. Become active in a constituent organization, there are chapters in all 50 states, Air Force, Army, Navy, Public Health Service, and Department of Veterans Affairs. Let them know about issues that concern you. The more active you become, the greater are your personal rewards as a member of AAPA and as a physician assistant.

Leadership Focus

To promote a broader definition of leadership among the PA community, the Leadership & Professional Development Council (LAPD) manages Leadership Focus. This program recognizes PA leaders in a broad array of leadership categories. The program highlights the efforts of everyday PAs, who participate in various leadership roles, who serve as good examples, and who make a difference in their communities.

AAPA Staff Leadership

These short biographies give insight into the lives of the AAPA leadership team. The information provided describes their backgrounds, education, experience and positions within the organization through a more personal touch.
