A Case Based Approach to Diagnosis and Management of Acute Pelvic Pain in Women

Acute pelvic pain can be caused by problems in several different systems – from those that are only very uncomfortable to those that can be life threatening. Being able to develop a comprehensive differential and use the history and physical exam effectively to rank them in order of likelihood can guide the choice of laboratory tests and imaging tests needed and expedite appropriate targeted therapies. This course will work through several scenarios to review those skills.
