Academy of Doctoral PAs Inaugural Conference (ADPA 2024)

The ADPA 2024 Conference was developed by doctoral-trained PAs for doctoral-trained PAs and other PAs interested in obtaining a doctorate. This year’s theme of ADPA 2024 is “Benefits of a PA Doctorate.” The conference content will describe the benefits and intricacies unique to having a doctorate as a PA. Lecture content will include: Elephant in the Room: Why a Doctoral PA Degree?; PAs in Academia; PAs in Administration Leadership; PAs in Entrepreneurship; and PAs in Research. Breakout sessions will coincide with lecture topics by mentors and leaders in the PA profession. Additionally, a discussion panel of doctoral PA program directors and a representative from PAEA will discuss their thoughts on a doctoral terminal degree for the PA profession.
