The vast majority of people will experience low back pain some time in their lives and surgery is indicated in less than 5% of all cases. This lecture will let the participate treat most cases of low back pain independently and know which patients require referral for more specialized care.

The hand and wrist are common sites of orthopedic injuries, accounting for up to 3 to 9% of all orthopedic visits. It is important for PAs to correctly diagnose and treat these injuries and maladies to decrease pain and promote good hand and wrist function.
