Our Resource Center Review Process
The resources are reviewed annually by a committee of PA volunteers in specialties related to the health priority areas. Each toolkit is reviewed by at least three volunteers in that specialty or topic area. The reviews are conducted individually, and responses are compiled. The decision to keep, add, or remove resources is based on a majority vote.
For provider-focused resources, the evaluation is based on three areas:
- Up to date/accuracy
- Reliability
- Overall recommendation to include in the toolkit
For patient-focused resources, the evaluation is based on five areas:
- Up to date/accuracy
- Reliability
- Patients can understand and process key information
- Clearly identified actions patients can take
- Overall recommendation to include in the toolkit
