Women in Philanthropy Reception

Women in Philanthropy Reception

Tuesday, May 23
5 – 6:30 p.m.

Join us for a night of networking and an opportunity learn more about Title IX in healthcare at the Women in Philanthropy reception! This event, which benefits the PA Foundation, is open to all conference attendees.

Speaking at this year’s reception is Laura McClary, DHSC, MH-Ed, PA-C, a Professor and the Director of Health Professions Education, Doctor of Medical Science program at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah.

McClary’s presentation, Title IX: Sexual Discrimination, Harassment, and Misconduct-Preparing to Address the Reality, will demonstrate what Title IX means to you as PAs, as well as your colleagues and students; inform you of your legal rights and the due process (understanding state laws, licensure, and credentialing implications for PAs), give clarification on mandatory reporting guidelines, and overall equip PAs with better skills to handle and understand Title IX issues.

The cost is $35 for PAs and $20 for PA students. Add the WIP reception when you register, or if you’re already registered, log back into your registration and housing dashboard to add the reception to your registration. All proceeds benefit the PA Foundation.
