Hannah Anderson, MSPAS, PA-C

Hannah Anderson, MSPAS, PA-C is a Lecturer at the University of Kentucky PA Program and Director of the Surgical Tracks for the UKPA Academic Residency Program. She is an alum of the UK PA program currently practicing in primary care with a background in trauma and general surgery. She is passionate about empowering the next generation of PAs to be resilient in clinical practice, human advocacy, and research.

Ryan Hunton, DHSc, PA-C

Ryan Hunton, DHSc, PA-C, is an Assistant Professor in the University of Kentucky (UK) Department of Physician Assistant Studies and Director of the Medical Tracks for the UK PA residency programs. He completed a Doctorate of Health Sciences at A.T. Still University in 2023, and he completed the Advanced Practice Provider residency in the UK Department of Emergency Medicine in 2018. He currently works in the emergency department at Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort, Kentucky, and serves in the Kentucky Army National Guard.

Virginia L. Valentin, DrPH, PA-C

Virginia L. Valentin is an Associate Professor who serves at the University of Kentucky as the Chair for the Department of Physician Assistant studies and PA Academic Residency Program Director. Dr. Valentin received her Doctorate of Public Health with a focus in epidemiology from the University of Kentucky, a Master’s in PA Studies from Barry University, and RN degree from Weber State University’s nursing program. Dr. Valentin is passionate about developing PA leaders who will focus on eliminating healthcare disparities.
