PA and National Guard Service Member Dies Due to Coronavirus

Civilian and Soldier Served His Country

AAPA was deeply saddened to hear about the death of Capt. Douglas Linn Hickok, a PA and member of the New Jersey Army National Guard, after he contracted the coronavirus. President and Chair of the Board David E. Mittman, a former Air Force service member, said, “Capt. Hickok represents the truest sense of ‘serving honorably.’ Whether our country needed him in the National Guard or as a civilian medical provider, Capt. Hickok was there. He selflessly served a grateful nation. On behalf of AAPA’s Board of Directors and our members, I would like to convey our sincerest and deepest condolences to his family.”
