AAPA President and Chair Announces CEO Search Committee

David E. Mittman, PA, DFAAPA, president and chair of AAPA’s Board of Directors, provides an update regarding the search process for AAPA's CEO. Mittman has asked AAPA President-Elect Beth R. Smolko, DMSc, MMS, PA-C, to chair the AAPA CEO Search Committee. Smolko will be joined by six PAs including Mittman and two AAPA staff members.

AAPA Announces Leadership Change

AAPA announced today that the AAPA Board of Directors has exercised its right to part ways with AAPA’s CEO, Jennifer L. Dorn, MPA, as of June 10, 2019. AAPA’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Development Officer Lisa Gables will serve as interim CEO until the Board appoints a replacement. An executive search for a CEO will soon commence.
