Timothy J. Camasta, PA-C, DFAAPA is the 2023 recipient of the AAPA Military Service Award. A PA for 34 years, Camasta spent the last sixteen working directly with Active Duty and retired Service Members as a subject matter expert in traumatic brain injury.

Allie Thompson, PA-C, is the recipient of the Preceptor of the Year Award. Thompson is a PA in acute care surgery who precepts students monthly at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine, and has precepted over 40 students since 2016.
